Cigar enthusiasts are rejoicing across the land, as mild is back and here to stay! The 5 Vegas Gold No. 1 is a most worthy addition to the Gold series that has shown to the World that cigars need not always be rough, tough and ready to rumble. With a smooth, easy going nature, the 5 Vegas Gold No.1 is a superstar for all to enjoy.
The 5 Vegas Gold No. 1 is a solidly constructed 7 ½” x 54 behemoth that is practically bursting at the seams with lush 5 year aged Cuban-seed filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. A Honduran binder leaf and a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf complete what will prove to be a glorious adventure of over an hour and a half.
The journey begins with dashing wood and spice notes that explode out of the mild-to-medium bodied smoke’s first puffs. These flavors settle into a mellow character as chestnut, hazelnut and almond nuances emerge. Hints of walnuts and cream add texture to an easy going, yet delightfully fulfilling finale.
The 5 Vegas Gold No. 1 is a milder smoke that can be enjoyed any time of day without reservations. Truly setting the “Gold Standard” of what mellower cigars should be, the 5 Vegas Gold No. 1 is a cigar like no other and should easily become a standout in any everyday rotation.
